Let Them Eat Caos with Kate Tempest @O2 Ritz, Manchester
It was 4h18: Joana, Esmée and I had the privilege of watching Kate Tempest on one of her biggest shows of the Let Them Eat Chaos tour and we are never going to be the same again. This can be the most honest and vulnerable you will ever read from us. It feels good to be alive. “She was so good when I saw her last summer in Belgium” said Joana, last Wednesday also the day she visited Manchester for the first time. Hours later, it was weird to believe we were part of that amazing night, the night Kate Tempest presented her new album Let Them Eat Chaos at O2 Ritz. Non-stop and no phones were allowed. That was Kate’s (and her Amazing band) moment. We felt vulnerable but more important we felt alive. Joana and I didn’t know how we could write a review about this gig . These words came up when listening and reading the lyrics of Let Them Eat Caos, so we wrote it down and accepted this need of putting out there what’s been inside our brain. On a different note, the photo diary of this day will be on Side Stage very soon (scary times ahead).
