Poland. I think it’s the only country I can actually call ‘home’, except Portugal. In total, I’ve spend three months of my life there, and even if it doesn’t sound much, this was the only time outside my comfort zone. I came across a new language, a new culture, and I saw views that I never thought I would ever see. But I also did something that I couldn’t really miss. I’m not talking about pierogis or potatoes. No. I’m talking about listening and getting to know polish music. During these three months of living in Poland, in Rzeszów more exactly, I always had a bit of free time. I rarely had a straight six hour shift so I had enough time to walk around the city, to find a coffee as strong as the one we have in Portugal, to understand where all those beer companies come from, to play in the snow because I’m a grown up kid, to watch Asseco Resovia (SOVIA!) the volleyball team of the city, or just to rest inside because the polish cold can’t be compared with the Portuguese cold. But after a while, I started to get a bit bored of the same routine and had the excellent idea of going to the shopping centers (they’re so many of them) and listen to what this country offers because there was no money or maybe bravery to go to other cities on my own. In this playlist, made by yours truly, you can find 33 songs in polish or english by 31 artists/bands. Instrumental music, electronic, rock, pop or even jazz are included!

P.s: I just really have to say thank you to the Empik workers at Millenium Hall and Galeria Rzeszów for actually standing me almost everyday of the week.
