FOMO Boiler Room London
FOMO (acronym): a state of mental or emotional strain caused by the fear of missing out.
The fear of missing out on something is definitely a feeling that I and most of you have felt before. Thinking about such concept, makes you realise how stupid it is, because you know, that no matter what, you will always miss out on something, somewhere, or like me, you will miss out on sleep.
These photos were mostly taken at parties organised by Boiler Room, Ormside Projects and Keep Hush. Boiler Room is a platform that I'm sure most of you have already heard of. Personally, what I like the most about their parties are the 'Low Heat' series, where local artists and DJs showcase their new sounds and latest productions in an extremely cosy and welcoming place - which is actually Boiler Room's office. Ormside Projects is hands down, the most underground place I've ever been in London. I got to experience nights that were way more than just parties, they were art performances. You have to be there to understand. But this is why I only missed out on my sleep while I was in London. This city is the hardest place to keep FOMO in control, and I'm not complaining about it! This is the place where I found this happiness that came from what I’ve experienced and what I lived through partying and meeting new people and also the most important thing, what brought us together, the music.
